Hi friends!

Here is a quick tip on how to properly deadhead roses. August is the time of year to shape them but leave heavy pruning for late winter or early Spring. It helps prevent disease and encourages new growth.

Be sure to use an angled cut so water does not rest on the stem, which can promote disease. Happy gardening!
