Did you know there are ways to keep your tulips upright, longer?

simple techniques to make tulips last longer southern home and farm

Here are 3 simple tricks:

1. Start by dropping a penny in a vase filled with water with a dash of Sprite, or floral preservative.
2. After adding greenery, be sure to keep foliage clean beneath the water line.
3. Add tulips and make a small slit on each tulip stem, just under the flower, then arrange in a vase.

Pro Tip:

Cut tulip stems at 45° angle to allow for more surface area, for water uptake.
Change water mixture daily!
